My prediction is that every parent should walk away from this game feeling proud. Proud of every practice you took your student athlete to from the time they were learning how to dribble as Young Pups or Baby Eagles. Proud of the outstanding young women they have become.
Between the two teams, I interviewed 9 players last year on the podcast and they all came across so humble and respectful. My hat is off to you all.
My prediction is that we’re going to see a really good game, I don’t think it will be a blowout either way by any stretch. If you recall, the Eagles hung tough and led in the early parts of the second half in their last meeting.
My prediction is that we’re all going to walk away from this game with the gratitude that we even had a season. When we flash back to about 49 weeks ago, none of this seemed possible at times. This season didn’t go the way normal ones do, and no one hates the terms “social distance”, “new normal” or “wear your mask” more than I do. But I’m just glad we all get this moment.
My prediction is that one day when both of my young daughters ages 4 and 7 began their own journey in sports, it was because they watched these games with Daddy and it encouraged them to play. Encouraged them to realize that girls can do pretty much anything boys can do.
That’s my prediction………. Oh, wait, you wanted a score prediction? HECK NO! I learned a few years back (Silver Rail) when it comes to high school sports NEVER to do that. At best, you’re going to be right, and still anger 50% of the people reading it.
Everyone enjoy the night and soak in the moment!
