The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) (c) vs. Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood)
Prediction – Remember when this division was the best in Pro Wrestling, what a sad fall since. FTR has to be the most overrated team in history. Pick them to win anyways as AEW remains clueless what to do here and The Hurt Syndicate have lost all steam.
AEW Unified Championship Match
Okada defends against Strickland
Prediction – I have to believe they do not end the reign of Okada as Unified champion so quickly, although TK seems madly in love with Strickland, the most forgotten AEW World Champion ever, so who truly knows.
AEW Womens World Championship
Timeless Toni Storm defends her AEW Womens World Championship vs Athena
Prediction – Toni Storm is one of the most polarizing cannot miss acts in Pro Wrestling right now and easily sitting next to Will Ospreay as the number two attraction in AEW. Athena “Ember Moon” may be the longest Women’s Champion in ROH history, but if no one watches the product, does it count? A loss here makes ROH look weaker the ever and that is exactly what we are headed for.
Women’s TBA Championship
Mercedes Mone defends against Alex Windsor, Persephone and Bozilla,
Prediction – I’m sorry, but once Mone lost to Storm, this title became completely meaningless.
AEW TNT Championship
Kyle Fletcher defends against Hiromu Takahashi
Prediction – If Fletcher brings his A game, this match could steal the show as he successfully defends. I expect this one to be sneaky good!
Match for the IWGP Championship
Zack Sabre Jr defends Nigel McGuiness
Prediction – There is no chance in Hell that Sabre loses this match. If anything, Garcia turns heel on McGuiness.
Adam Copeland & Christian vs Kip Sabian & Killswitch
Prediction – Edge and Christian will forever be loved by wrestling fans and with Copelands short lived AEW run coming to an end at the September PPV, there is no way they don’t go over here.
