by Our family ventured out to Hershberger’s Farm & Bakery today in Amish Country. From fresh food to hand crafted antiques, they offer a little bit of everything. The new petting zoo increased the price from $7 per person to $9, but it also adds another 45 minutes onto your visit and it is well worth it.
Even if you’re not an animal or antique guy, they have an incredible bakery and produce market on the Westside of the location complete with a full selection of pumpkins to pick under the tent. From pies to fresh cheese and meats, there is no shortage of goodies.
Perhaps best of all is the food stand which offers a variety of breakfast sandwiches to hot sides and main courses such as grilled chicken and cheeseburgers. It is just one of those places that makes your soul and stomach happy all at once.
