Five undrafted players who could stick with the Cleveland Browns

  • Brian Herrien – RB – Georgia – 5’11” 208 lbs.

Herrien is re-united in Cleveland with former Georgia Bulldog teammate Nick Chubb. In fact Herrien spent his career at Georgia stuck behind the likes of NFL running backs Chubb, Sony Michel and D’Andre Swift.

To his credit he stuck it out as a backup all four years with the Bulldogs. When he did get a chance to play he produced. In his four years at Georgia, Herrien rushed for 1,413 yards and 13 touchdowns while averaging 5.1 yards per carry. He only fumbled one time in his 277 rushing attempts.

Herrien will have to compete with incumbents Dontrell Hilliard and D’Ernest Johnson for the third running back spot. He will look to prove to the Browns that he is an NFL talent despite never starting a game at the NCAA level. Herrien also has some kick return experience and could be an instant contributor on special teams in 2020.
