Five undrafted players who could stick with the Cleveland Browns

  • Jovante Moffatt – S – Middle Tennessee St. – 6’0” 210 lbs.

Moffatt was a standout safety with the Blue Raiders. He leaves 5th all-time in tackles in Middle Tennessee State history with 313. In his senior season Moffatt had 98 tackles (71 solo) and three interceptions. He was named honorable mention All-Conference USA. Moffatt was not invited to the NFL Draft Combine.

The Browns signed two safeties in free agency and drafted another in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft, but could still use some depth at the backend. Moffatt will have a chance to come in and contribute immediately on special teams. With Karl Joseph and Andrew Sendejo on 1-year deals, Moffatt has a chance to move up the depth chart after this season if he sticks.
