Five undrafted players who could stick with the Cleveland Browns

  • Solomon Ajayi – LB – Liberty – 6’1” 235 lbs.

If the last name rings a bell it’s probably because Solomon is the younger brother of NFL running back Jay Ajayi. He joins the Browns after starting 23 games the past two seasons at Liberty University. In those two seasons Ajayi combined to record 165 tackles including 9.5 tackles for a loss. He also had two sacks, two interceptions and three fumble recoveries one of which was returned for a touchdown.  Ajayi was not invited to the NFL Draft Combine.

With the Browns lack of depth at linebacker Ajayi will have a chance to come in and compete for a backup spot and become a special teams contributor. While he played primarily inside at Liberty, Ajayi has the speed and versatility to play inside or outside at the NFL level.
