Five Men The Cleveland Browns Should Have Kept Around

Kareem Hunt

Hunt arrived in Cleveland in 2019 and after serving his suspension as he went on to play 8 games that season for Cleveland.  His true impact was felt in 2020 when Nick Chubb got hurt.  In 2020, Hunt ran for 841 yards and 6 touchdowns as the Browns made the playoffs.  Fast forward to 2023, and the exact same thin occurred, Chubb got hurt in Week Two, and the Browns finally brought Hunt back into the fold after not resigning him when they should have.  Hunt went on to lead the team in scoring last year with 11 touchdowns and was a force at the goal line.  The Browns knew Chubb wouldn’t back until mid season in 2024, and they still didn’t resign Hunt.
