by Each week High School football sees some tremendous performances. This past weekend was no different as there were several. One of which came from Firelands running back Weston Strader. The senior tailback had 207 yards on 26 carries with 4 touchdowns in a 38-21 victory over Clearview.
This was just week after a performance so incredible, it earned him the Jenny’s Old Fashioned Popcorn Player of the Week. In that Week 6 effort he rushed for 377 rushing yards, 6 touchdowns and not a single loss of yardage all night.
The Falcons will look to stay red hot this coming week as they host Brookside. Our Nick Kovacs will once again be in the land of the Falcons and apples (across the street) on Friday night.
