28 Green Bay Packers: Trevor Penning, T, Northern Iowa
With limited top tackles available I think the Packers take a huge gamble with Penning. Penning has a frame of a star tackle but that’s about it. Hand placement is bad, pass set is okay, and his feet are out whack and he holds badly. He also seems to struggle on handling the inside move and the bullrush on multiple occasions. If you watch the senior bowl practices, you’ll see that he hip tosses rushers towards his QB. All that being said the Packers will be blinded by his stature and make a decision they will soon regret.
29 Kansas City Chiefs: Travis Jones, DL, Uconn
30 Kansas City Chiefs: George Pickens, WR, Georgia
31 Cincinnati Bengals: Kenyon Green, G, Texas A&M
32 Detroit Lions: Matt Coral, QB, Ole Miss
The Lions dream would to be signing their future pass rusher and a QB. Two possessions that can change a team’s future in one draft. Coral has the tools to be the best QB in the draft, the Lions can have him sit a year and get him ready for the future.
