MAXIM Lacrosse will demand players embody the game by giving and receiving respect and understanding that character counts. MAXIM Lacrosse provides the opportunity for passionate, high-performing athletes to come together, celebrate their accomplishments (on any field), and work together to demonstrate competitive excellence.

It was a fast paced game from the jump with visiting the Royals taking control from the very beginning. They opened up with multiple goals, scoring nine points in the first half. #3 Greta Bigham was a spark in the offense with 5 goals in the first half. She had multiple elite plays that led to a score whether it was an assist or goal. Ellia Crecco totaled two points as well and was the second leading scorer for the game overall.

The Royals then totaled 2 points in the second half with one of these goals coming at the buzzer of the fourth quarter. The Bruins tried everything they could to match that intensity as they racked up two points in the first half and one in the second. Ava Bonfili and Alexiah Bryan were responsible for the two goals in the first half, while Marianna Bryan captured the the third and last goal at the beginning of the fourth quarter. The Bruins had a great gameplan, but, there was no match to how the Royals attacked them.

The highlight player from this game was on the visiting team. Greta Bigham was phenomenal, she left the game with six goals in total and was the clear leader on the field; not only in points but vocally, there were times that I could hear her calling out plays and letting her teammates know what to watch for and cover on the field. She was a wrecking crew and a leader all in one.

Overall great game. The Bruins always come out with great pace and intensity, unfortunately for them, the Royals came out on a level above that. Some great defense and great movement ran the royals up to 11 total points for the game while holding the bruins to 3 points. The cohesiveness of the Royals is what was ultimately the deciding factor in this game and now both teams look to move on to the next. The Bruins have a long road trip coming up and focusing on this loss will only hold them back. I believe they will get back on track as they move to 1-2 for the year and the Royals move to 2-2, looking to build a streak!
