- Pittsburgh Steelers – Trey Sermon RB Ohio State
- Los Angeles Rams – Ben Cleveland OG Georgia
- Cleveland Browns – Patrick Jones II Edge Pittsburgh
The additions of Jadeveon Clowney and Tak McKinley look excellent on paper. A backup for Myles Garrett is still needed on the opposite side just to be safe. Jones is a natural 4-3 DE who plays best with his hand in the dirt. Not only is he a schematic fit for Cleveland, but he appears to have some of the best pass rush abilities in this class. He needs to improve against the run partially due to his lean frame. If the Browns put some more muscle on his frame, he could end up becoming the long-term end opposite Garrett in a few seasons.
- Minnesota Vikings – Kelvin Joseph CB Kentucky
- Cleveland Browns – Jay Tufele DT USC
I am fully convinced that Sheldon Richardson will be brought back to Berea on a more team friendly deal. The Browns will then have four nice pieces at DT in Richardson, Jordan Elliott, Andrew Billings and Malik Jackson. In case one gets injured this season, drafting a defensive tackle to keep the rotation flowing smoothly would be ideal. Jay Tufele would be an excellent fit. In addition to a 6’3” and 315-pound frame, Tufele still possesses surprising quickness. In the future he could become a three-down DT. Most teams would dream of having the luxury of Tufele as a 5th DT on their roster.
