The Browns have addressed defensive end with Adrian Clayborn and defensive tackle with Andrew Bilings. Larry Ogunjobi is coming into the last year of his contract though which means it might be best to grab one more talented DT. Hamilton had a nice last season at Ohio State. He is great at filing the gabs as a run stopper. Hamilton also can get after the quarterback. The big man did tally six sacks in his senior season. Hamilton would be a backup in his first year but would be involved in the rotation immediately.

84. Los Angeles Rams (9-7) – Anthony McFarland  RB  Maryland

85. Detroit – from Philadelphia* (9-7) – Chase Claypool  WR  Notre Dame

The Browns need a safety but that might come in the sixth round or later. This draft is filled with talented receivers expected to be selected on day two. The Browns could use a bigger wide receiver and pick 97 could be a spot to do that. Donovan Peoples-Jones is 6’2” and has great leaping ability. He showed that with his 44.5-inch vertical jump at the combine. If he had better quarterbacks at Michigan then his numbers could have been way better. DPJ is not the prospect Braylon Edwards was in 2005. I do believe that he could have a better NFL career than Edwards though. Learning from Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry could greatly assist in the growth of the young wide receiver. Perhaps his talent could be fully unlocked.

98. New England (compensatory) – Bryan Edwards  WR  South Carolina

99. New York Giants (compensatory) – K.J. Hill  WR  Ohio State

100. San Francisco **Mock Trade with New England (compensatory)** – Jordan Elliott  DT  Missouri

101. Seattle (compensatory) – Ben Bartch  OT  St. John

102. Pittsburgh (compensatory) – Khalid Kareem  Edge  Notre Dame

103. Philadelphia (compensatory) – Terrell Burgess  S  Utah

104. Los Angeles Rams (compensatory) – Jack Driscoll  OT  Auburn

105. Minnesota (compensatory) – Ben Bredeson  OG  Michigan

106. Baltimore (compensatory) – Rashard Lawrence  DT  LSU
