Cold Pizza: Naming The Very Best In Cleveland Sports Talk

Cleveland sports fans have always been passionate about their sports talk. It not only needs to be accurate, but also entertaining. The hosts don’t always have it easy but also do their best to try and make it enjoyable as possible for everyone.

KEE On Sports Media Group would like to dedicate this weeks “Cold Pizza with Vince McKee”, to honor the following shows and personalities with these awards for the very best in North East Ohio sports talk.

Best Morning Show: Ken Carman with Anthony Lima on 92.3 The Fan

Reason: This is an absolute no brainer as the morning show on 92.3 The Fan has gone from the very worst to the very best in the last 3 years. These two are a perfect fit and show producer Kenny Kidd does a masterful job booking guests and stirring the pot.

In the days of Kiley & Booms, I couldn’t listen for more then 5 minutes without wanting to strike my radio dial violently. It was 4 hours of arguing and far too hostile for a drive to work. These guys are the exact opposite. While they don’t always agree, they do so in a respectful manner with plenty of insight.

They are funny, they know each other well and they are the perfect yin and yang in the mornings. If you want local based morning sports talk, then keep your dial glued to 92.3 The Fan Monday – Friday.  I cannot get enough of “I have a theory” or “Would You Rather”. I always enjoy “Lima Like”.
