Cleveland Browns Trade For Odell Beckham Jr

Reports are being finalized now that a deal has been struck between the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants.  The Cleveland Browns will be receiving star wideout Odell Beckham Jr in exchange for a first and third round pick this year, along with 2 year safety Jabril Peppers.

Some would say the Browns are giving up a lot to make this happen.  However, they have 10 draft picks coming into the draft this year along with a host of mid to late rounders.

Peppers has underwhelmed in his time in Cleveland with an abysmal rookie season, followed up by comments in his second season calling the fans fickle.  That right there may have been enough to punch his ticket out of town.

Beckham Jr was drafted 12th overall in the 2014th draft and has had a great career with the Giants.  He has caught 390 passes for 5,476 yards and  44 touchdowns.  He is widely regarded as one of the top wideouts in the game.

Beckham will be reunited with college teammate and fellow star wideout Jarvis Landry.  They will be provide two excellent threats for Quarterback Baker Mayfield.  It is clear that John Dorsey is all in to build the offense and team around Mayfield.

For once the Browns are not obsessed with draft talk, and have their full focus on winning now!
