Cleveland Browns Quarterback Deshaun Watson Case Update

The good news for the Cleveland Browns and Deshaun Watson just keeps coming.  Per Josina Anderson of CBS Sports, the NFL has thrown out 8 of the 12 cases presented to them by women filing against Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson.

This decision was based on lack of any credible evidence. The NFL and Judge Sue Robinson are now reviewing the briefs this week, along with one more look at those 4 remaining cases.

With that being said, fans can expect a ruling on the Deshaun Watson issue by Friday of this week.  Please see below for the exact tweets by Josina Anderson.

      1. Four investigations and nothing. This is a witch-hunt and these women were paid by Texans owner to do this

      2. Just because someone says they was assaulted doesn’t mean they was. It’s really telling the cops declined to charge him criminally . Which tells me there wasn’t any evidence of an actually assault. Before anyone tells me what do you know I’m a police officer that has felt with this many times ..and I assure you if there was a crime his ass would be in jail.

  1. Raider Willie from Kansas City if you can’t do the time don’t do the crime you know you’re guilty take it like a man not a boy crying to his mama

    1. Dude he literally demanded a criminal trial so he could prove he was innocent. None of the women wanted criminal trials they wanted civil suits that tells me it was nothing more than a cash grab. Also at least two Texas Grand Juries decided there wasn’t enough evidence to send it to trial. As well as one of the “victims” own sons told police that his mother told him that nothing happened.

  2. Allegations are not evidence. Facts matter. The number of allegations is not evidence. Hundreds of people told me Christopher Columbus discovered America and that wasn’t true either.

    1. I feel for any victim of any assault or injustice but facts are facts and if they don’t have any proof or facts how can u say he’s guilty

  3. I have always asked people that were screaming for justice, what did D. Watson do? That was wrong.? They say, look at all those women, I was like so, college kids have sex like that all the time. Who cares about his personal life. Seems to me a money grab and jealous

  4. I am just very tired of the negative press the Browns bring on them selves. Have been Browns fan for life at 69 yo

  5. Something smells fishy!!! I have argued how Houston through DW under the bus for demanding a trade. And, why was there no open investigation against the his accusers? They were paid regardless of any accusation. No reason for him not to be starting Game 1. Thank God he didn’t do what Barry Sanders did when Detroit and the NFL blindsided his career.
