He is not the veteran leader they thought they were getting. He is avoiding contact and dropping to a zone coverage on plays when he needs to man up. He proved it on the goal line yesterday when he clearly avoided a tackle attempt, allowing Gus Edwards to score with ease.
Perhaps the worst trait of Johnson is his tendency to throw other players under the bus. He never takes the blame and just sits back and causes trouble. He is the first one to cause a problem and blame someone else for a collapsed play. He needs to go for a 4th round pick.
