Over the weekend, two more Browns players made an appearance on NFL’s top 100 players of the 2018 season. Baker Mayfield and Myles Garrett both landed back to back, at No. 50 and 49, respectively.
After a record-breaking first year in Cleveland, Mayfield swiftly made his name known around the NFL. At No. 50, he ranks higher among other quarterbacks like Cam Newton, Deshaun Watson, Matt Ryan and Kirk Cousins.
Falling one spot ahead of him, at No. 49 was Myles Garrett. He finished the 2018 season with a career-high 13.5 sacks, the seventh-most in the league and was the third Browns player to rank inside the top 100 players with Jarvis Landry opening at No. 84.
In 27 career games played, Garrett has accumulated 75 total tackles and 20.5 sacks during his first two seasons with the Browns. He’s got high expectations for himself moving forward, as he wants to win Defensive Player of the Year in 2019 after coming off a season in which he made the Pro Bowl for the first time.
The only other question that remains with Browns fans is where will Odell Beckham Jr. rank? The list continues tonight with picks 30-21 announced at 9 p.m ET on NFL Network.
