The Browns are beefing up the defense and may have made the best under the radar signing of the offseason. They inked USFL Defensive Player of the Year Chris Odom of the Houston Gamblers. He put the football world on notice this past spring with a dominant season in the USFL.
During this past USFL season, Odom racked up 41 tackles, 12.5 sacks, six forced fumbles and four blocked kicks for the Gamblers. This will be a great chance to see if he can translate that success into the NFL. This will also be a great and telling sign for the USFL if he can, or can’t for that matter.
