Cleveland Browns Draft LSU Safety Grant Delpit

The Cleveland Browns traded away their second-round pick (41rst overall), to the Colts and used their pick in return (44th overall) to select Grant Delpit, a safety out of LSU.  He is a 6 foot 2 inch, 213 pounder who played with fellow Cleveland Brown Greedy Williams only two seasons ago.

The Browns needed to fill that hole at safety and Delpit should compete right away for a starting position.  The only issue that Delpit could have is tackling.  He has struggled at times with tackling and that was a major issue in the Browns secondary last year as well.
