Cleveland Browns Additions Give Them Shot at AFC North Crown

Second year with the team, but in an advanced role.

David Bell WR out of Purdue

Listen folks, say what you want about Cooper and DPJ, but in my humble opinion, Bell is a hidden gem that the Browns desperately need to unleash.  He has the best hands on the team, is reliable and needs to be on the field for 3x as many snaps as he was last season.  He doesn’t drop balls, and he gets open, play the guy!

Jerome Ford RB out of UC

The hype is through the roof for Ford, and without Kareem Hunt to soak up snaps and spell Nick Chubb, it will be up to Ford to step up.  He has all the talent in the world, and running back coach Stump Mitchell speaks highly of his second year back.  The bar is set VERY high for Ford this season.

Deshaun Watson QB traded from Houston

All right fans, the real Deshaun Watson was not the one we saw play the final six games last season.  Those were glorified scrimmages with a dumb downed playbook.  You won’t see the real one in pre-season either, so just chill out until week one, when the breaks are taken off, and we can finally see what the Browns traded so much for.
