Ogbonnia “Obo” Okoronkwo
The DE coming over from Houston should help Myles Garret on the outside. Also, he has veteran and Super Bowl experience while playing with the LA Rams two seasons ago. “Obo” came to Cleveland without a lot of hype, and I truly believe he will shock fans with how effective he can be this season right away. Clearly the Browns think so too, giving him 19 Million over 3 years.
Juan Thornhill
The safety will be counted on to replace and outperform John Johnson III who had a terrible time in Cleveland. Thornhill wont have to do much to outperform Johnson III, but Cleveland needs him to do a lot more then just succeed his predecessor.
The Browns have not had good safety play in many years, despite money spent on free agents and high draft picks. They badly need to solidify this position and Thornhill will bring the size, speed and experience at the spot they need.
Dalvin Tomlinson
After Jadeveon Clowney continued to be a giant bust during his time with Cleveland, the Browns made a major upgrade with DT Dalvin Tomlinson from the Vikings. This is another addition that will help free up Garrett on the outside. If Tomlinson meshes well with his new teammates and Za’Darius Smith steps up on the outside, this team can be deadly on the D-Line!
