Eric Kush is listed as the starting right guard for tonight’s game against Tampa Bay. In fact, he even started the first couple of practices this week with the starting group.
As seen throughout the offseason and even in the first two preseason games, the right guard position is wide open for the taking and 29-year-old Kush appears to be in the driver’s seat for the starting position heading into week one of the regular season.
Nothing is set in stone yet, so Kush needs to continue to prove that he belongs to start at the right guard position and solidify his spot protecting Baker Mayfield upfront.
