It was an impressive performance from the Cleveland Browns’ defense Friday night against the Bucs, especially the defensive line. In the first half, Cleveland had five sacks, forced six punts and allowed a total of 78 yards of offense.
That also includes back-to-back sacks during the opening series for Tampa Bay from Olivier Vernon and Sheldon Richardson. For the game, the Browns compiled seven total team sacks. It’s no secret at this point, but the Cleveland Browns defense is going to cause serious problems to opposing offenses throughout the regular season.
