Cleveland Browns: 3 Takeaways From The Browns 13-12 Loss

Is Austin Seibert the new favorite at kicker?

The kicking battle continued into preseason game No. 3 and rookie Austin Seibert may have pushed himself ahead of Greg Joseph for the starting kicker job. Seibert went 3-3 during the first half Friday night, making kicks from 54, 36 and 30 yards away. His night didn’t stop there as the rookie made a fourth field goal, this time from 35 yards out in the fourth quarter.

After being given a chance from 50 yards late in the fourth quarter of game two and missing it, Seibert redeemed himself and appears to be in the driver’s seat for the starting kicker spot for the team heading into the final preseason game against Detroit.
