The lack of discipline from the team week one was nearly laughable, as the Browns accumulated 18 penalties enforced against them for 182 yards. In all, the fines combined to be worth a total of $70,185 with four different players being fined at least $10,000 as well.
This may be something all of America will be watching as the 18 penalty flags did not go unnoticed. Odell Beckham went on to explain that through one game, adversity may already be hitting the team.
“It’s nothing to panic about, adversity has to come at some point in the season…. why not right now?”
Discipline was a key issue week one and that will just have to improve each week throughout the season, starting Monday night against the Jets.
