3. Get to Russell Wilson out of the pocket
The Browns come into week six with a defensive sack percentage of 9.3, the 4th-best in the league. Myles Garrett comes in with seven sacks, second-most in the league as well. Cleveland has a clear advantage this week in being able to pressure the quarterback and if the Browns can get to Wilson early and force him out of the pocket, that’s a win for the defense.
We now Wilson is an elusive quarterback and can make plays using his legs, but this season, the 30-year-old has compiled 120 rushing yards through the first five weeks of the season.
The team must start the game off on a high note and not play come-from-behind like they’ve been accustomed to. The defense as a unit must be ready to make plays and stop the potent Seahawk offense.
