CBS Sports Network to air up to 12 football and 12 men’s basketball games annually through sublicense agreement with ESPN

DETROIT, Mich. – The Mid-American Conference announced today a multi-year extension with CBS Sports to televise MAC football and basketball games through the 2022-23 season on CBS Sports Network.  The deal, which is a four-year extension from the original deal signed in the 2015-16 season, continues through a sublicense agreement with ESPN.
CBS Sports Network will air a maximum of 12 football and 12 men’s basketball games annually, along with televising the MAC Men’s Basketball Tournament Semifinals and the MAC Women’s Basketball Tournament Championship from Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
“This multi-year extension with CBS Sports Network continues our national exposure of MAC football and basketball games to provide a platform for our student-athletes, coaches and programs to showcase their talents to a national audience,” said MAC Commissioner, Dr. Jon A. Steinbrecher.  “Having CBS Sports continue their relationship with our Conference shows the commitment our national television partners have in the Mid-American Conference and our fan base.”
