This past Friday Canfield stopped red hot Streetsboro on their way to the Regional Final this weekend in Chardon against the unbeaten Hilltoppers.

Sophomore quarterback Broc Lowry had a big game rushing for two scores and tossing another, as the Canfield Cardinals defeated host Streetsboro, 24-6, in Division III, Region 9 action.

Broc Lowry went 8-11 passing for 153 yards and a touchdown. Also 15 carries for 111 yards and two touchdowns.Β  They handed Streetsboro their first loss of the season and will now attempt to hand Chardon their first loss.

This performance wins Broc The Jenny’s Old Fashioned Popcorn Player of the Week for Week 10.

Our Tyler Stotsky and Tony Bogan will be there to cover that game live.
