The Lady Bulldogs delivered head Coach Jordan Eaton his 100th career victory with a dominant 73-19 victory this afternoon in North Olmsted over the Eagles.  The Bulldogs spread the ball out and got everyone involved brilliantly as 11 of 13 players scored in the historic victory.  It was a barrage of long balls as the Lady Bulldogs hit 11 triples before the day was over!

Olmsted Falls Head Coach Jordan Eaton had this to say about win number 100, “It feels great, I honestly had no idea until I saw the parents keeping track and it feels awesome.  There has been a lot of tough losses, but a lot more extremely fun wins, so I’m happy. It’s a nice milestone.”

It was important for the Bulldogs to not take this game lightly, and come in focused despite the conflicting records of the schools over the last two years, Coach Eaton talked about that as well, “The major thing we do is to make sure we do everything we practice.  We want to make sure we don’t force the issue and we always talk about getting better each game.  Our players do a great job of holding each other accountable for their mistakes and taking it very seriously against teams no matter their record. I give our players a lot of credit for buying into the system and them wanting to do well without forcing the issue. “

Leading the way for North Olmsted was Brooklyn Beeman with 12 of the Eagles 19 points.  All 12 of her points came in the second and third quarters as she was the only Eagle to score in those quarters.  Morgan Dangerfield, Elena Cardenas, Katrina Samano each had 2 while Sarah Pullin chipped in with a foul shot.

As mentioned, for the Bulldogs it was a total team attack. They were led by Senior Grace Simon with 16, including 12 points from long range.  Fellow Senior Lauren Galaska, when she wasn’t signing autographs pre-game and meeting with fans, she was draining buckets.  Galaska finished with 13 big points. Lauren Noernberg had 9, Paige Kohler with 7, Mia Kalich with 7, Sara Glover with 6, Aliison Milligan and Ashley Keener each had 3.  Mary Donnelly and Emily Scina each had 2 while Danielle Cameron had 5.

The game started on a 17-0 run from Olmsted Falls along with the smoldering defense that has made this team that good.  North Olmsted struggled to score in the first, and didn’t get their first points until 59 seconds remained.  It was a bucket by Morgan Dangerfield that broke the draught.  Mia Kalich and Allison Milligan are everywhere on defense.

Also, if there is a loose ball you can expect Lauren Galaska to go diving for it.  Paige Kolher is the cool handed sophomore stirring the drink and if Grace Simon is left open, the ball is finding the bottom of the net. The high scorer of the quarter was Sara Glover off the bench with 6.

The Second Quarter was more of the same, as the Bulldogs started on a 14-0 run to extend their lead to 31-2.  Brooklyn Beeman cooled them off temporarily with 5 straight points.  Beemer was aggressive and smart with the ball but it wasn’t enough to get the Eagles over the top. The Bulldogs would finish strong from there and take a 35-7 lead into half.

The Third Quarter was all Olmsted Falls as they shot the lights out, hitting 6 of their 11 three balls.  By the time the barrage was over, it was a devastating 59-14 lead for Olmsted Falls.  The only points in the quarter for North Olmsted, once again came from Beeman.  Simon hit two from beyond the arc, Galaska had one, Milligan had one and Noernberg had two.  It was a blitzkrieg of offense.

Things would finish the way they started with Olmsted Falls controlling all assets of the game to put things away 73-19.
