Brunswick QB Jake Scherette Wins Player of the Week 2 2019

In only two games, Brunswick has jumped on everyone’s radar as one of the best teams in the state.  They have dominated in the trenches and have controlled the line of scrimmage anytime they have needed to.

Not only that, but their quarterback play has been off the charts as well.  That is why it is no surprise that our week two winner of the Jenny’s Old Fashioned Player of the Week is Jake Scherette.

In the monstrous 49-0 Week two Victory on the road at North Royalton, Brunswick Quarterback Jacob Scherette finished by going 12 of 14 for 148 yards and 2 touchdowns.  The young man also ran for 55 yards and two more touchdowns.

The Blue Devils will look to stay hot this weekend when they host Rhodes.

Scherette took 2 /4 of the staff vote.  Luke Devins took the fan vote.  Other top vote getters included AJ Lunardi and Brian Troblel
