Brookside Cardinals Quarterback & Safety Kenny Grobolsek Wins Player Of Week 4

This was the closest vote we have ever had, as the editors were split right down the middle, and the fans took a different route as well.  We have NEVER had a list of candidates with as impressive a week that these young men had this past weekend.  It was the stuff of legend!

I’m not joking or sugar coating it when I say we could have easily had 6  – 8 winners, and some student athletes still have would have gotten the short end of the stick. If I could have handed out 8 awards, I would have in a heartbeat.

In the end, the choice was Brookside Cardinals “Do It All Man” Kenny Grobolsek who had the game of his life.  Grobolsek did it all this past weekend with an incredible 15 tackles, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries as well.  What makes this night even more incredible, is that after he played his tail off on defense he went out and led the offense with one rushing touchdown and two passing. His incredible night led to a 27-0 shutout of Clearview.

Kenny Grobolsek has the Cardinals soaring, and they will need to remain strong as they visit the red-hot Columbia Raiders this weekend.  A game that will be covered by Kee On Sports own Christian Hinton.  It was the fact that Grobolsek had so many big plays on both sides of the ball that won him the award.
