The Cleveland Indians have traded right-hander Trevor Bauer to the Cincinnati Reds, sources told Jeff Passan of ESPN.
Bauer is a part of a three-team deal that also includes the San Diego Padres, Passan notes. Outfielder Yasiel Puig is heading to the Indians in the deal.
- San Diego is sending Franmil Reyes and Logan Allen to the Indians, a source told Dennis Lin of The Athletic.
Reds prospect Taylor Trammell is going to the the Padres from Cincinnati in the trade, sources told Ken Rosenthal.
