The Brooklyn Hurricanes 10U Baseball team won the league championship for the 2023 SWS Youth Recreation Travel League. They finished the regular season with a 7-0 record and overall finished 9-0 including 2 tournament wins.
The Hurricanes defeated North Olmsted Swensons 6-2 in the championship game played on July 17 at Brooklyn Memorial Field.

We would also like to give recognition to the Brooklyn Hurricanes 15U Softball team who made it to their championship game on Monday July 17 as well. They lost a 10-9 thriller vs. Rocky River but competed the entire game and throughout the season. The 15U Hurricanes had the best overall record in the regular season finishing 10-1 and won 1 tournament game before losing in the finals.
