Braedon Spies Wins Week Five Jenny’s Old Fashioned Popcorn Player Of The Week

Braedon only had to throw the ball 7 times this past Friday night, but that was more then enough to earn him player of the week honors by a landslide!

The sophomore sensation threw for 229 yards and four touchdowns in a 42-12 route over Normandy. Spies compiled those numbers and only played the first two quarters of the game.

Owen Bebie caught two touchdown passes from Spies, one for 60 yards and the other for 35 yards.  The other big threat in the air for Spies was wideout Charlie Hudson who had his best game of the season. Hudson caught two touchdown passes, one from 10 yards out and the second from 50.

With wideouts such as Charlie Hudson, Owen Bebie, Christian Dean and Tommy Bebie out of the backfield, this team is loaded!  While it was Spies piling up the stats this week, make no mistake about it, it was a TOTAL TEAM EFFORT.

We  didn’t even mention the explosive play making ablitlites from players such as Joey Pike, Zack Wagner and James Byall.  This team can do it all.

They loaded from top to bottom, and the rest of the OHSAA better be on the lookout for these Pirates! With a solid coaching staff led by Josh Wells, don’t be surprised if they make it back to the playoffs and go on a serious run!
