Big Names Set For Main Roster Following WWE WrestleMania

Here now is who is most likely to appear on RAW or Smackdown, the week following WWE WrestleMania 39.

Jay White

Reason – He is the hottest free agent on the market, and it is clear that Tony Khan is losing total control of AEW and has very little clue how to book anyone that isn’t a homegrown AEW star.  It would make little sense for him to go to AEW with an overcrowded roster as it is. WWE creative is where he needs to be.

Cameron Grimes

Reason – He has been off NXT television since November, and working live events for the main roster along with Zoey Stark.  His gimmick will either be a huge hit or miss on the main roster unless they completely repackage him, which is also a possibility.

Indi Hartwell

Reason – A solid fan favorite that I can instantly see tagging with Candice LaRea for a run at the Women’s Tag Championships.  Also, I wouldn’t rule out pairing her with Austin Theory who she had good chemistry on NXT, as Dexter Lumis already appears to be an afterthought on the main roster.

Brian Cage

Reason – AEW dropped the ball with this former IMPACT champion several times.  I’d look for him to be a force on Smackdown where they are sorely in need of a talent shakeup towards the top.  Perhaps bring him in as a heel as have him take on Sheamus, or as a babyface and face Karion Kross.

The Creed Brothers

Reason – Their act has gotten stale in NXT despite being in ring capable.  A move up to the main roster would give them a bigger spotlight, better writing team, and an actual chance to shine.  Again, the in ring ability is there, they just need a bigger stage.

Taya Valkyrie

Reason – the rumors have her in Canada tonight for AEW as a one off deal, and then headed back to WWE.  She struggled badly as Frankie Monet during her last stint there, but given the proper push on the main roster as Valkrie, she may have a chance.  If they don’t bring her back, I can see them calling up Zoey Stark instead.
