BIG 10 Issues Statement On Ohio States Elibility For Championship Game

As reported earlier today the Ohio State home game this weekend versus their rival Michigan has been cancelled due to a COVID 19 outbreak within the Wolverines.  With that being the case, the Buckeyes regular season ends with only having played five games.

They would have needed to play in atleast six to be eligible for the Big 10 Championship Game. Keep in mind, Ohio State had three of their eight regular season games cancelled while some SEC teams are approaching 10 games.

Considering all of this, the BIG 10 commissioners and governing body will now be forced to make an important decision.  They released this statement earlier regarding the pressing matter at hand.
