There were many fine performances during week 9 of the High School Football season, but perhaps none finer then Berea-Midpark Titans QB Danny Bowser. The young man went 16/25 passing with 228 yards and 2 TDs. He also had 10 carries for 123 yards in a 35-21 win over their rival Olmsted Falls to capture the Bagley Cup for the second consecutive year.
Bowser is the only quarterback in Titans history to capture two victories over Olmsted Falls, let alone back to back Bagley Cups! It is this effort and his ability to lead that motived us to name Bowser our Week 9 High School Football Player of the Week. Bowser took a 1-7 team into enemy territory and came out with the win. He is the definition of a leader and champion!
Congrats young man and good luck to you and your teammates this weekend in Elyria!
