Bay High School Varsity Softball falls to Elyria Catholic 10-0

Bay Rockets couldn’t keep up with Elyria Catholic Panthers and fell 10-0 on Tuesday.

One bright spot for the Rockets was a single by Abbey McCready in the first inning.

Morgan was in the circle for the Panthers. The fireballer surrendered zero runs on one hit over one inning, striking out three and walking one.

Grace Pierce started the game for Bay. The bulldog surrendered ten runs on 13 hits over six innings, striking out one.

Elyria Catholic smacked two home runs on the day. Isabelle Niederst had a four bagger in the sixth inning. Bredel went yard in the third inning.

Bay Rockets racked up five hits on the day.  McCready and Mal Kaminski each racked up multiple hits for the Rockets.  Mal Kaminski and McCready each managed two hits to lead Bay.

Elyria Catholic tallied 13 hits in the game.  Belza and Dixon each had multiple hits for the Panthers.  Elyria Catholic didn’t commit a single error in the field. Belza had  11 chances in the field, the most on the team.
