by Barberton traveled to rival Aurora with a 4-3 record, and on the fringe of the playoff picture. Few fans gave them the chance against the high powered and highly rated Greenmen, but the Magics were not impressed and not afraid of the their opponent and took it to the Greenmen.
Thanks in part to 262 yards and 4 touchdowns from Xavier Macon, the Magics stormed away with a 35-14 victory. This incredible performance by Macon dropped the Greenmen to 6-2 and earned Macon our Jenny’s Old Fashioned Popcorn Player of the Week award.
They are now 5-3 and have a tremendous shot at 7-3 as they close the season with back to back home games. The Magics will host Cuyahoga Falls on October 14, 2022 and Tallmadge on October 21, 2022.
