by On last night’s episode of ABC’s The Bachelorette, fans watched Katie Thurston dramatically pick her final four men, as next week we head into hometowns.
At the beginning of the season, I made some predictions about who was going to make it to the final four, and who eventually wins this season. You can see those way too early (and wrong) predictions here:
After night one, I predicted that
- Greg
- Conner B
- Justin
- Andrew
Were going to make it to the final four, with Conner B and Greg reaching the final two, and Greg winning it all.
Clearly, some of my predictions were spot on, and some were just completely wrong!
Conner and Katie ended up not having a romantic connection (he’s off to paradise!), while Andrew had the most dramatic exit of the season so far.
But… I’ll take guessing 2/4 men right with pride, I’m batting .500!
Here are the actual final four men vying for bachelorette Katie’s heart, and my prediction for who’s going to win it all.
Katie’s Final Four
Greg
This was the easiest prediction I’ve ever made!
After receiving the first impression rose night one, it was obvious that Greg was in it for the long haul.
To me, he is the obvious front runner, as he received his second one-on-one date last night, and just seems lightyears ahead of the other 3 men left.
However, I also get the feeling Greg is too good to be true…
True fans know something has to go wrong…right?
I’m crossing my fingers that nothing bad actually happens between these two, as I chose Greg as my winner for this season after night one, and I still stand by that choice!
Team Greg!
Blake M
Honestly, it’s unfair that Blake M made it to the final four… there was no way I could have predicted this!
Bachelor nation knows Blake from appearing on Clare and Tayshia’s seasons of the Bachelorette. Blake also slid into Katie’s DMs after her stint on Matt’s season of the Bachelor.
Clearly the convo went well, but not well enough, so he decided to throw his hat in the ring.
He came in a few weeks into the process, but that doesn’t seem to slow down these two at all.
Blake and Katie are extremely similar and clearly like each other a lot, which is why I think he is going to reach the final two.
But, he’s not going to be the one to receive Katie’s final rose.
I don’t know why, but Blake makes me feel some type of way. I can’t put my finger on it but not a huge fan of the guy.
However, Katie seems to really like him, so he’s definitely someone who can swoop in and steal Katie’s final rose.
Michael A
Talk about the sleeper pick of the season!
I would have never guessed single father Michael A would make it very far, let alone making it to hometowns!
And honestly, I’m not complaining about getting this one wrong.
As this season progressed, you really can’t help but root for Michael A, not only in the show, but in life!
This guy has been through the ringer to say the least, but he still is one of the most likable guys on the season.
I don’t think he is going to win this season, which I’m guessing is due to his situation as a father. There was a moment this week where I thought he was going to send himself home to be with his son, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he did so in the next couple weeks.
But, as a new bachelor nation favorite, I could see a trip to paradise in his future…
Justin
The last man to round out the final four is Justin, who I predicted correctly, but shocked that I was actually right!
I truly thought Katie was going to give the last rose of the night to Andrew instead of Justin, and I think everyone who watched last night would agree!
But, Justin did snatch the rose, which lead to Andrew having the most dramatic exit of the season, and nearly coming back during the last few minutes of the episode!
Perhaps Justin and Katie have a much stronger connection than is portrayed on the show, but all I know about this dude is that he’s an artist and creates paintings that Katie loves.
Maybe we’ll get to learn more about Justin during hometowns next week, but I really don’t see him making it past this week.
But honestly, I hope he sticks around because his facial expressions are GOLD!
I’ll Do Better Next Season!
As a huge bachelor franchise fan, I really thought I was going to do better than guessing 2 out of the final 4 men, I was going for 4/4!
But I’ll take what I can get!
I can’t wait to see what happens at the end of this season, and to see if Katie even chooses anyone at all…
Who knows, it could be “the most dramatic season finale in Bachelorette history!”
