Avon Lake High School Football Preview and Community Day Details

High School Football is only a month away, and Avon Lake is set to kick off at home against Strongsville on Friday August 18th. Kee on Sports will proudly cover Avon Lake football on that night, as we have proudly covered every game they have played in since 2018. A great program and tradition!

The community supports their student athletes extremely well, and will once be hosting a Football Preview and Community Day on August 4th.

Join the 2023 Avon Lake High School football team to kickoff their season! This is a community event to meet the players, see Shorty and cheer on the teams as they open with scrimmages against Medina Highland.

Activities include senior photo signing, kids games, face painting, candy run, run the tunnel and photos with Shorty! Food trucks too! Freshman/JV scrimmage starting 4:15-4:30pm.

Varsity scrimmage kickoff at 5:30pm.
