| Avon Lake Boys Soccer win at home on Senior night against Eastlake North by the score of 9-2.
Coby Ostrowsky opened the scoring in the 3rd minute with a banger of a finish in the lower right corner. Coby tallied a second goal late in the second half at the 69th minute for his 5th goal in 2 games. Goals were also scored from Sr. Chris Dunleavy, penalty kick in the 8th minute. Sr. Aaron Richardson added 2 scores and 2 assists. Aaron’s 2nd goal was a left footed thunderbolt in the upper left corner. Sr. Brendan Sheehan had 2 goals and 1 assists and was a constant headache for the right side of Eastlake’s defensive midfield. Sr. Sam Forsyth had a nice put back goal off a corner kick. JP Gannon had 1 goal and 3 assists and was a constant danger in the offensive middle. Man of the Match was earned by Aaron Richardson. The score at the half was AL – 5 / North – 2. Yahir Rangel scored both goals for North. Shots on Goal AL – 35 / North 7 Goalkeeper Saves AL – 5 (Lukas Pentz) / North – 14 (Mason Yelenosky) Avon Lake improves its record to 6-2.
