by Each week High School football sees some tremendous performances. This past weekend was no different as there were several. One of which came from Avon wide receive Ethan Holbrook. The speedy and sure handled Eagle had 12 catches for 217 yards and 5 touchdowns during the dramatic and much needed win over SWC rival Olmsted Falls.
Holbrook made one big play after another for the Eagles as the Bulldogs had no answers in the 63-52 win. Sam DeTillio had 6 touchdown passes total for the night, and the offensive line blocked the Eagle way for 600 plus yards to be achieved.
The monster performance by Holbrook, led the Eagles to their fourth straight win, and improving their record 6-1 on the season. All signs point to a 9-1 finish and another SWC crown this season for Avon. Up next for the Eagles is this Friday night as they host Berea-Midpark.
