Cleveland Browns: Does Cleveland Have The Best Wide Receiver Group In The NFL?

AFC Power Rankings 2.0

  1. Miami Dolphins

Predicted record: 5-11

Many people believe this might be the worst team in the AFC. Although I am clearly not high on the Dolphins, I believe they could even have a slightly better record than 5-11.

Most would say I have the Jets and the Dolphins flipped but here is why I’ll disagree. Although the division rivals from New York have a better defense, I still like the linebackers for Miami.

Part of this comes from being an Ohio State fan but I know Jerome Baker and Raekwon McMillan can be tackling machines. If they can stay healthy, there is a possibility of having great success next to Kiko Alonso.

The secondary is improving and adding Christian Wilkins to the defensive line helps plug up some holes. As long as this defense keeps the Dolphins close, I believe the offense can do some things.

We all know Ryan Fitzpatrick can go on a run and wow us then come back with some terrible games. That is why Josh Rosen should 100 percent be the starting quarterback in week 1. It might not happen that way but if the coaching staff makes the right decision for their future they will choose Rosen. Rosen reminds me of Jared Goff.

He will never be one of the best quarterbacks in the league and is more of a system guy but with some talent around him he can make the throws.

The fact is that the Dolphins have better receiving options than the Jets. DeVante Parker, Kenny Stills, Allen Hurns and tight end Mike Gesicki can pull in plenty of receptions this season.

Rosen did not have a chance in Arizona because his offensive line couldn’t give him time or keep him upright. Miami will be an improvement for Rosen.

Expect this team to steal a game from the Patriots again yet still draft in the top 10 this year.
