Cleveland Browns: Does Cleveland Have The Best Wide Receiver Group In The NFL?

AFC Power Rankings 2.0

  1. Pittsburgh Steelers

Predicted record: 8-8

The Steelers have been a staple of controversy lately. Fortunately for them the “doubles B’s” in Brown and Bell are gone.

That might be able to help the locker room but I’m not impressed with the talent this year. It’s the first time in a while I look at the Steelers roster and the first thing that comes to mind is “meh”.

JuJu Smith-Schuster is talented but I think being the main guy will pose a new challenge. Numbers will probably be down from last year actually since he will be up against the best corners night in and night out.

James Conner will likely have a pretty good year again running behind a solid veteran offensive line. He won’t be the problem for the offense though.

The issue will be Big Ben. Roethlisberger is getting older and it’s obvious. His numbers are still fine but you can tell it’s not the same Big Ben we watched for many years.

His arm strength is decreasing and he goes down much easier after being hit. That video of Myles Garrett shredding a picture of Ben might be how this season goes for the long time Steelers QB.

The defense still has some good pieces with Cam Heyward and TJ Watt. Joe Haden is a big name but he is not nearly the talent he once was in Cleveland.

Adding Devin Bush from Michigan in the draft helps fill a piece missing for the linebackers since the horrific Ryan Shazier injury.

The Steelers are on the decline though and I think they will just miss a Wild Card spot. So no playoffs for Pittsburgh this season.

Although I like the direction the Bills are going better, I have the Steelers ahead of the Bills by one spot due to the fact that the Steelers will probably beat the Bills at home in week 15.
