AFC North Night One Draft Grades

Pittsburgh Steelers

Selection 24th overall pick

Najee Harris, RB out of Alabama

Reason for Pick – With James Connor no longer around, and the RB room in Pittsburgh lacking any depth, this was a great pick for the Steelers. While the same argument can be made that we did with Cincy, they need serious 0-line help, but when you can get a game changing talent like they did with Harris, you don’t pass that up.

My hat is off to Brandon SP who nailed this selection as well.  Cole actually had Harris coming off the board a bit earlier with the Miami Dolphins.

Grade – B

Harris was a stud in college and is going to ball out as a pro.  The only issue is how poor their run game has been.  They still need help upfront and despite how talented Harris is, if they don’t get that line help he will not see his full potential for quite some time.
