AEW WrestleDream 2024 Predictions

The Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington will hosts tonight’s AEW WrestleDream.

As much fun as it would be to predict all 12 matches, I feel as though it would make more sense and be more impactful to predict five moments that we can almost guarantee you will see.

So here they are, as you settle in tonight, you can almost count on these Five Impactful Moments to go down.

It will be a big night for “Heels” to walk out with the gold.

I fully expect Chris Jericho, Jack Perry, The Young Bucks, Mariah May and Jon Moxley to all hoist gold before this one is over.  With the exception of the Young Bucks, all are red hot right now and Khan loves to place the gold on the biggest, “current thing” going.

The debut of Bobby Lashley

I fully expect Bobby Lashley to debut at some point this evening as part of MVP’s new group in AEW that already boasts Shelton Benjamin and possibly Powerhouse Hobbes as well.

Swerve will turn against Prince Nana

Well, the one staple of the Khan regime is taking a top babyface and turning him hill for no reason a all.  I cannot guarantee that Swerves joins the MVP faction, but at the same time, he turns against at attacks Nana.

Will Ospreay retains the AEW International Championship and walks away from the Don Callis family for good.

It has been coming for weeks with all the signs on the wall.  Ospreay is not happy with the direction of Callis and the parting at this time only makes sense. With the potential retiring of Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson, Ospreay has the potential to be the biggest face on the AEW brand.  Even with guys like Darby Allin and Adam Copeland hanging around.

Christian Cage cashed in on a bloody Bryan Danielson to capture the AEW World Championship.

You’re going to see blood tonight, lot’s of it as WWE Bad Blood featured a ton, and AEW is going to want to match it. With that being said, if Bryan Danielson someone gets past Moxley, a debuting Sami Callihan will assist a post match beatdown of Danielson, leading to an easy cash in of the contract for Cage.
