AEW Hits A Homerun With Loaded Episode of Dynamite

Luchasaurus is coming back with Christian by his side

Grade – C

Reason for grade – MEH, unless you’re actually going to book him properly, as an actual “Kane Like” Monster, then who cares.

Jamie Hayter Defeats Riho to retain the AEW Women’s Title

Grade= A

Reason for grade – Just as the first title match did, this one delivered!  Riho isn’t exactly a gatekeeper per say, but she is talented enough to have a good match with anyone and Jamie Hayter is well on her way to becoming the breakout superstar of 2023.  A possible rematch with Toni Storm lingers.

MJF celebrates MJF Day

Grade – A+

Reason for Grade – He may be the most talented man in the business, and also the future of “Sports Entertainment”.  From singing, to talking to wrestling this guy can do it all and this segment proved it.  I’ll simply say this, his impression of Chubby Checkers and the scatting was cannot miss charisma at it’s best.  He nailed it!

We all know that Jungle Boy Jack Perry, Sammy Guevara & Darby Allin have no chance of unseating MJF, and that he will have to carry this feud with is mouth as those 3 can go in the ring, but not on the microphone.  More segments like this will help.

Sammy Guevara beats Komander

Grade B

Reason for grade – Solid match as he, Perry and Allin won’t lose until the fourway match with MJF for the title on PPV.

Hook defeats Ethan Page to retain the FTW Title

Grade – A

Reason for Grade – While I’m not sure why this title is needed, Hook is doing his best to give it any relevance.  I’m also glad he is getting real competition now and not just tomato cans.  Matt Hardy costs Page the match.  It appears AEW will have “ YET ANOTHER TURN” as Hardy is going back to babyface.  I mean, you know, CONSTANT character turns at AEW are not exactly shocking.
