Orange Cassidy vs John Silver
Prediction – This seems like a thrown in match to get the popular Orange Cassidy back on the winning track with a give me win over Silver. Also, has anyone seen Brodie Lee since he lost the TNT Championship?
Chris Jericho vs MJF
Prediction – What about in the ultimate swerve, the Inner Circle turns on Jericho and helps MJF win? It would be kind of sad, almost like Joe Pesci getting taken out in Goodfella’s. I don’t see it, pick Jericho here as the best group in AEW stays together in full force.
Hikaru Shida vs Nyla Rose
Prediction – Their title match at Double or Nothing was pretty good. I’m excited to see the rematch but I do not see the belt switching as the Rose title run was a bust. It shouldn’t be much longer until Britt Baker becomes the new number one contender for the belt.
Matt Hardy vs Sammy Guevara
Prediction – This almost seems like a do over from the debacle that happened to them last time at All Out. I’d expect this one to be good and Hardy to put Sammy over. Guevara has a horrendous record on TV on PPV they need to stop burying the talented young man.
Jon Moxley vs Eddie Kingston
Prediction – Jon Moxley has been absolute money as champion and pretty much his entire run with AEW has been excellent. He has been the MVP of this promotion and I do not see them taking the belt off of him for Kingston. I do expect this match to be very brutal!
FTR vs The Young Bucks
Prediction – The Dream Match many fans have pined for is finally here! Let’s hope that Matt Jackson is not seriously hurt, and we get that match. Either way, I see the belts staying put with FTR, despite Tully Blanchard being banned from ringside.
Cody vs Darby Allin
Prediction – Cody wins then receives the beatdown of a lifetime from Ricky Starks and Brian Cage. If not the Dark Order as Brodie Lee is going to want that rematch eventually. You also have Lance Archer still lurking around needing something to do. Someone is kicking Cody’s butt when this one is over.
Hangman Page vs Kenny Omega
Prediction – This has match of the year written all over it and the capability to be the greatest match in AEW History. We all knew it was coming, there was no suspense but who really cares, we needed this match! Hangman Page needs this win or else no one can take him as a serious contender again. He will win and we will all enjoy this one!
