AEW Dynamite Recap & Reaction

Hikaru Shida defeated Anna Jayy. It was a so so match in a very weak women’s division in AEW. It truly is the only thing lacking right now for them. It is basically Britt Baker and everyone else. It also doesn’t help that you see the actual champion once every six weeks or so.

Jon Moxley versus Jake Hager for the world title was announced for the April 15th Dynamite. They had interviews with both guys talking about the history between them before they even got to AEW. If Hager wins, it will be the first crack in the Inner Circle as you just know Jericho won’t stand for it.

That leads me to believe he won’t, and instead the match will end in a DQ via gang attack from the Inner Circle instead. Rumor has it this match already took place somewhere in an empty arena. I’d also look for Jericho to get his rematch with Mox at Double or Nothing in late May.

In another segment making fun of Vince McMahon, Brodie Lee tried to hold a meeting in a boardroom somewhere. He berated his “followers” for not addressing him properly, and then in a hilarious moment scolded someone for yawning. Again, this angle is being done to perfection!

Solid show all the way around, b+
